Discussion 4 - The Importance of Leadership

Topic to be discussed from Monday July 6 to Friday September 25, 2009 (extended for summer)

Introduction to topic:

During a poll that was conducted in our pages a few weeks ago, 61% of voters said that other criteria are as important as or even more important than leadership when evaluating organizations.  The other 39% said that leadership should be the most important criteria to evaluate the performance of an organization.

This month, we would like you to extend on this topic and tell us why leadership should or shoud not be a priority when evaluating organizations.

Topic Question:

What is the importance of the leadership criteria when assessing organizations? Should it be the most important criteria when evaluating the performance of an organization or should other criteria be given priority?

We would like to invite your comments on this question.  Please read the Instructions beside before posting your ideas and questions.
